Collector Glass News continues their tradition of bringing rare and unusual glasses to auction. CGN auction #61 featured two Pepsi sample glasses that never were put into production. The first glass is a DC Comics Superman glass that is part of a larger set of Superman glasses. Each glass depicts one of Superman's extraordinary abilities. This glass is faster than a speeding bullet. The back side shows a revolver with Superman out running the bullet. There are five different glasses known in the set [speeding bullet, breaking chains, more powerful than a locomotive, leap tall buildings, and man of steel]. Speculation is that there is a sixth glass - X-Ray Vision although no copies are known to exist at this time. The example shown has a Brockway sample sticker on the bottom too.

     The second glass is another from the 1977 Pepsi Terrytoons set. The character is Little Roquefort. Auction #61 also includes an original Pepsi & Pete glass from the 1940s.
