The Pepsi Super Series, or the "Moon" Series as they are often referred to, are a popular series with collectors. A set of fourteen glasses was issued in 1976 and was followed up with a smaller set in 1978. Some of the Moon Series glasses are difficult to find. The DC versions of the Joker and Penguin are probably the scarcest glasses of the set. However, the plastic version shown is even more difficult to locate. This plastic tumbler stands 5 1/8" tall with an image of Aquaman on the front and his name on the back. The text on the side is in both English and French with DC Comics Inc, 1971 and a Pepsi logo. I found this glass in Canada during a scouring of the Ontario antique malls. It is the first from this set that I have seen. There are versions of the popular 1973 Warner Bros glasses that can be found on plastic too.
